People usually look at money and finances like it is a dense and solid subject. In this reality, money does not have a fun, easy-going and free-flowing feel to it. What if your money situation were not solid and heavy but could be light and easy to manoeuvre? How much more relaxed would you and your body be if you started acknowledging that you have more options than you have been willing to look at with all things money?
Here are 3 options you may have that you never acknowledged possible.
What questions have you not been willing to ask that would give you more flexibility to create your future? No matter what my situation is, I always ask questions. This opens up a sense of space and ease in my situation. I encourage you to always ask: what options do I truly have that I am not seeing?
Some additional questions for you are: how does it get better than this? I ask this whether things are going well or not. When I would like a different result, I ask: what would it take for this to change?
What if you actually just spoke to the person you are paying? It sounds scary — and it sometimes can be -- but what if you asked a question? You could offer to go on a payment plan or to pay half this week and extra the next? You never know what will show up and most people will admire that you actually spoke to them and included them. People like to be included.
If you are always tired you may want to add more to your life. It could be something small like meeting new people or it could be something bigger like getting an additional job. I am going to introduce a crazy concept to you. What if you are not actually tired? What if you are bored? I find that when I don’t have much going on in my life I get bored and things slow down. We have been taught that things are easiest when you have a simple life but what if by having lots of things going on, they all contribute to keeping you interested in doing the others?
These are three of my go-to options. Always look at the situation and ask what will create more. Sometimes it might not be appropriate to negotiate with people. Sometimes it might work to do all of these things. Always be in the question with what will work for you and this situation.
