Every judgment you have is a place you cannot receive. Every story you buy into is how you will create your life. Do you live in a scarcity mindset? Do you find poverty proves itself true? When you judge a point of view as real, you lock it into your body and reality. Anything that does not match the energy of that point of view cannot come into your life if you will not receive it.
Here are 3 common mindsets that cut off our receiving to wealth.
What if I fail?
Do you ever find possibilities with money you would like to create? A new career pursuit? A new business idea? Something you would like to invest in? But then wait... What if you fail? All of a sudden that lightness and creativity goes down the drain. What if you did fail? Would it really be that bad? You might not enjoy the new career and choose to leave. Your business might not flourish as you'd hoped for and you could choose something else. Your investment might not work out and you may not make money from it. Then you would have a whole new awareness of what will and won't work for you. Would it really be that bad? If you always focus on the worst thing possible, you are inviting that into your reality by spending so much time on that idea. What if you asked a question rather than going into the lie of failure? You could ask something like, what will my life be like in 5 years if I chose this? Or, what information do I need before I choose this? Or, is this for now or in the future?
I'd never do _____ for money!
What would you be unwilling to do for money? One way to find out is, what do you judge others for that they do for money? Have a think about what you consider 'wrong' to receive money for. How much money could you have if you did not resist the idea of doing things for money as right or wrong? This does not mean you have to quit your job and go and do these things instead. There is a difference between being unwilling to do something and choosing to not do something. Choosing not to do something is not resisting or judging. It is saying 'no thank you' to a choice that would not create the reality you wish to have without a point of view. It is not making it wrong, it is just a choice that does not work for you. How much of yourself do you shut off to receiving with judgment and resistance? Every time you judge you shut off a world of future possibilities that were waiting to occur.
I'll be happy when I have _____ amount of money.
Money follows joy. Not the other way around. People think they will be happy when they have a certain amount of money, but that is not true. Money buys lots of beautiful things, but it does not buy happiness. What if you were just happy? What if you were grateful for your financial situation as it is, and kept asking: what else is possible? You as a being do not require money, your body does - so is it true that you will be happy when you have more money? Or is it a lie? Another thing to consider is, when you get invited to a party, do you like to feel appreciated and welcomed? Or do you enjoy when people complain you are not enough? Money does not enjoy being at the pity party. Money enjoys being around people who appreciate it, are joyful and want to spend time with it. If you start appreciating and being grateful for all the money that has showed up, even if you asked for more, even it was a bit late, it may be happier to show up more often.
Do you ever create from these mindsets? What else is possible now?
